Eilis Soto
Biography
Born in The Dominican Republic, in the southern of San Jose de Ocoa.
I have been describes as a mischievous child but I was as a very studious girl, who
was artistically inclined to painting. My dream is to one day be a well known artist.
At the Bellas Artes School I was not the best student. However, motivated by my love
of art, improving until I meet my goals. I worked hard with perseverance to keep my
grade outstanding.
I immigrated to New York State recently on 2000 and enrolled in courses of art at the
Stratford Career Institute. I was successful in the Stratford studies program. Now
I am a full time student at Lehman College completing my Bachelor in Art. In my free
time I embarked in art projects. The most enjoyable time is working with children in
art programs. I really appreciate their creativity and their interest on painting as well.
